The to R mansion’s Baby Theatre targets babies from 2 to 14 months. It is a time and space for babies who cannot control their bodies completely, walk, or run yet, or who may not be ready yet for playing freely outside, and whose space where they can be free is socially limited.

Our Baby Theatre respects the baby’s intention no matter where the baby goes in the space, what they touch, and how they spend their time to the maximum.

 

Experiencing the space, outside of home, where a baby and an adult can relax and freely experience a sense of security in knowing there is a place where they feel welcome and relieved from daily life.

 

Baby Theatre is a place where babies can follow their curiosity, where they can have active social experiences, and where parents can let babies move freely and feel secure.

 

Babies who cannot walk get to physically experience the art and feel elation and joy flowing from the connection with their adults while they can be free of tension.

 

The babies who are able to move and walk can fully realize self-recognition, as existences who can go anywhere they want and act honestly upon their curiosities in this early development stage. At the same time, they also understand there are adults watching over them!

 

Having these fully physical experiences of joy and freedom, while comforted by the safety given by adults watching over the unrestricted space, Baby Theatre cultivates the foundation of independence.

Once they get older than 14 months, babies grow big, able to run and speak— they may harm those who are younger and risk the experiential opportunity.

Therefore, it is also very important to divide target ages, in order to make each baby’s experience satisfactory.
